Children, women, and entire communities are enduring unimaginable hardship in northern Syria. The ongoing conflict and displacement have left millions vulnerable to violence, exploitation, and neglect. For children, the trauma runs deep many have grown up knowing nothing but war. Nearly 89% of them require protection, with critical needs for psychosocial support to help them heal. Women and girls face equally devastating challenges, grappling with limited resources, gender-based violence, and systemic barriers that make rebuilding their lives a monumental task.<\/p>

Since the 2023 earthquake, these challenges have only intensified. Displacement has torn families apart, leaving children at risk of separation and exposing women to greater danger and hardship. The need for support is overwhelming, from ensuring children\u2019s safety to empowering women with skills and opportunities to transform their lives.<\/p>

We are addressing these needs with a comprehensive approach. For children, we provide safe spaces where they can find refuge and support. Our efforts include distributing essential supplies, offering parental education, and conducting awareness campaigns to protect children from exploitation and abuse. Through case management services and identification measures, we ensure no child is left behind, even in the chaos of displacement caused by events like\u00a0the 2023 earthquake.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For women and girls, we create opportunities for empowerment and independence. By supporting income-generating projects, vocational training, and education programs, we help women rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose. Our psychosocial support and legal consultations offer critical assistance to those affected by gender-based violence, ensuring they have the tools to recover and thrive. Community women\u2019s committees and safe spaces foster collaboration and awareness, addressing issues that affect women directly and advocating for meaningful change.<\/p>

Protecting and empowering individuals has a ripple effect on entire communities.   • Provide 3,600<\/strong> vulnerable children with specialized individual assistance and case management services.<\/li>
  • Distribute 38K<\/strong> identification bracelets for children to prevent separation from their families during displacement after the earthquake.<\/li>
  • Distribute over 6,500<\/strong> newborns and first aid kits.<\/li>
  • Provide more than 2,000<\/strong> parental skills and over 16,800<\/strong> awareness and psychosocial support sessions.<\/li>
